KANAL24, Malang – Muhammad Rozin, the coordinator of SAC of Cultural Studies of Brawijaya University are hosting the regular event of book discussion and cultural studies that have been held for approximately 2 years in a row. In this event he is covering a lot to think of, but for this month he is covering two main things there are cultural literature and linguistic. That is mainly brought up as a deep concern in this post-millennial era.
Especially in today’s event the concern they took is about social integration of traditional trade and youth in the Maluku Archipelago, which is the epicenter of the world which is a commodity trade, but until now the focus of development has not been so ‘focused’ on eastern Indonesia, which will later be discussed in the material.
“What we want achieve here is how the forum between the audiences and the speakers, especially here, where we provide professionals to answer and give them a qualitative information will later broaden their horizons and their argumentative self,” he said Tuesday (19/11/2019).
He continues, while emphasizing the idea of creativity and critical mindsets that post-millennials needs. That is to build on in this digital era, also learning from the external world, such as seminars and other unconventional things.
He also stated that we can work on this issues is cannot actually set by certain timelines but what we can do is providing the platforms and forums to conduct students with the issues through their own researches. By means that through this regular events, the expected outputs is that as students have the awareness. Not only to this relatable topics but also covering the ideas of literacy and the culture of reading and stating ideas in academic ethics way. (Fis 4)
